Knock, knock! Introducing possibly our most maximalist and show-stopping fall baking recipe to date: Pumpkin Shortcakes with Cinnamon Apples and Maple Whipped Cream Cheese. This recipe is just unbelievably good – golden and tender pumpkin biscuits piled with warm, gooey cinnamon apples and big fluffy swoops of maple whipped cream cheese. It’s just the right amount of sweet, spiced, and warming, and it is big on the holiday magic. ✨

Is this dessert – yes, for sure. But I would also like to throw BRUNCH out there for your consideration. It’s my favorite way to eat this – around a late-morning table with a steaming mug of strong coffee. It is the perfect day-after-Thanksgiving kind of way to wake up and welcome yourself into the holiday weekend. ❤️

All my ingredients for this came from ALDI (obviously) including the pure maple syrup, canned pumpkin, and organic cinnamon. You know how we love our ALDI around here. Really good products, affordability, and holiday joy!
