Battle of the Ruins

Battle of the Ruins

1. How to Play

The Battle of the Ruins lasts for one season, with team-based matches taking place every Monday and Saturday from 17:00 and 19:30. Each team must comprise between 5 and 8 players from the same Alliance;

You can gain points for your team by slaying monsters and occupying Ruins, with the team that collects the most points being declared the winner.

2. Level points

Level points will be awarded based on performance and winning/losing once the Battle of the Ruins has ended. There are 8 levels in total: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Master, Supreme Master, and Grand Master. Each level has its own interval. The higher your level, the better the items available for purchase at the Battle of the Ruins store. All players will be entered into the level rankings to decide the Grand Master;

3. Participation

Lords who have reached Castle Lv.27 can freely form teams of between 5 and 8 members;

If you create a team, then you become the team captain. Once a team has been created, other Alliance members may apply to join, and the team captain can then decide whether to accept their applications or not. The team captain can also invite members to join the team, these members can then either choose to join or reject the invitation. Each Lord can only take part in each round once and only with one team, You can compete alongside your friends and allies, taking part in battles with Lords from other Kingdoms;

Once a team has been formed, the captain can match them against others during the matching period;

You must first dispatch your troops before you can join or create a team;

You may take up to 2,200,000 troops with you to the battlefield.

4. Matching rules:

Matching is based on each team’s average Level points and Castle level;

5. Event time

During the event, teams will begin matching at 17:00 and 19:30 every Monday and Saturday and will last for 30 minutes, with teams being matched every 10 minutes. Contests will begin as soon as teams are matched, with players instantly entering the battlefield from the moment they’re matched until the end of the contest; After entering the battlefield, there will be a 5 minute preparation period after which the contest will last for 55 minutes. Players who have entered the battlefield will not be able to migrate or dispatch troops during the preparation period;

6. Battle rules

Upon entering the battlefield, the rules of engagement are much the same as during the Throne War;

Lords can earn points by occupying the Ruins, slaying monsters, and defeating Demigods. Victory is decided by points;

Lords can improve their own individual battlefield attributes by slaying Crimson and Azure Guardians;

Lords can improve their team’s battlefield attributes by slaying Nightmare Creatures, Armored Ghouls, The Beast, and Mammoth;

There is a spawning area on the battlefield, from within which you are unable to dispatch troops and are safe from attack. If your Castle is attacked and you fail to defend it then you will be moved to the spawning area and given a cooldown before you can migrate again;

Wounded troops will be generated on the battlefield, but healing them will not require any resources, and they will heal faster than normal; First-aid Tents will no longer have an upper limit to their capacity and all troops will be automatically healed when you depart the battlefield;

Your max rally size on the battlefield is 75% of what it would usually be;

Once on the battlefield, you will exist solely as a member of your team; you will be unable to perform any Alliance-related actions. This will not affect the status of your Alliance outside of the event;

During the Battle of the Ruins, if you fail to defend your Castle from attack, none of your resources will be plundered and your Heroes will not be captured;

Troops killed during the Battle of the Ruins:

Do not count towards a Lord’s total kills;

Do not count towards the Top Lord Kill Event;

Do not count towards a Lord’s Military Rank;

Do not count towards the Killing Machine or Rally Caller achievements;

Any deceased troops will not be turned into Vital Energy.

After entering the Battle of the Ruins a Lord’s Castle in their own Kingdom will be put under Protection Status, this means they cannot be attacked or scouted. After exiting the Battle of the Ruins, your Castle will be given 5 minutes of protection.

Battles conducted in the Battle of the Ruins will have no effect on your protection status in your own Kingdom. If you use war protection before exiting the Battle of the Ruins and the remaining time exceeds that of your original war protection in your home Kingdom, then the game will automatically replace your old protection with the newer, longer one.

7. Victory and rewards

Both you and your team can gain points by performing certain actions on the battlefield

Victory and defeat are decided by which side accumulates the most points during each contest. If one side has at least 10,000 points and is at least 5,000 points ahead, then they will be declared winners and the contest will end. If neither side manages to meet the above criteria, then the contest will end when the time is up and the team with more points will win. If both teams have the same number of points when the contest ends, then the one with the highest average level will be awarded the win. If all of a team’s members leave the battlefield during the contest, then they will lose automatically;

After each contest, Level points will be awarded based on players’ performances and whether they were victorious or not;

Scoring rules:

After each contest, points and rewards will be awarded based on players’ performances, whether they were victorious or not, and their level. The player with the highest points from either team after the contest will be named MVP, they will also earn a special reward;

Lords who exit the battlefield before the contest has ended will lose level points based on their level, they also won’t receive any rewards;/> After each contest, Lords may find trial points among their prizes.
